The excitement is building, isn't it? Already enough entries to make for a great show, and we're probably not even halfway there. It's interesting to me to see the Hans Lein entry (2h) with Casey Shuman aboard. Last I heard, Hans had sold everything and was out of the game. Things change, I guess. Danny Stratton had considerable success in Lein's car in the past, so the 2h may be just one more entry to keep an eye on. Levi will also bear watching this year in the 56. I assume that's Shane Hmiel's car that Levi drove to victory at the Gold Crown Nats. I'm with you, Wallsracing...I can't wait either. By the way, is there any kind of IOW get together during the CB?

I'd be interested. Don't know how many IOW'ers are going, sure it's a bunch. We could meet after the heat races one night behind stands at concessions?

Some interesting numbers I came up with when comparing the current entry list for the 2012 Chili Bowl with the entry list from 1/11/11 for the 2011 Chili Bowl:

As of December 14th, 2011, the number of entries for the 2012 Chili Bowl stand at 204. This is 8 entries more than the exact same time last year.

Of the 204 entries so far for the 2012 Chili Bowl, 58 (28% of entries) are drivers that did not compete (or were not entered by 1/11/11) in the 2011 Chili Bowl:
