FYI. Thought I would look into a room for Friday, seems most everything in town is booked, as are rooms in Bedford and elsewhere. Rooms that are available are a bit pricey. For those looking, there are some in Vincennes. I might just drive back and forth to B'ton & Tri-State.

When ever I want a room in Bloomington, I book well in advance.Months.
Lots of times you can get a good rate, because the Inns might not yet know of an up coming event.

My motto is, you can always cancel a room, but you can not always get a room.

Well after the last two IU games I imagine getting rooms will be easier.

They almost came back and won Saturday's game, scored 28 unanswered points, only to see it slip away in the final minutes. If anything, fans in these parts are cautiously optimistic, bordering on excited, by what they saw. Can they keep the energy up? Who knows. That's why we go watch.

I work at Fourwinds Resort and Marina as a parts/service manager. If anyone needs help getting a room let me know. Were 10 mins or so south of Bloomington Speedway. Sometimes the resort is busy especially on holiday weekends but usually have something available in most cases.... The resort is nice and close to the track. Its a little higher priced then a Super 8 and so on but is worth it Id say. Would always try to help a racer out if poss.

I would have to check for a normal weekend rate. I know a big weekend some of them go for like 129 a night if I remember right. I dont actually work in the hotel. I run the store and the parts/service dept so I dont quite catch much of whats going on there. But still an employee and may be able to do some help for someone here and there. But Id say a normal non holiday weekend they may be a little cheaper. I could always talk if anyone was interested and see what I could do..
