Jesse Hockett would have turned 28 today. A true racer's racer, and like so many others with promising futures, he was taken way too soon. RIP Jesse.

Jesse Hockett has sure been missed in the sprint car world.
I will never forget the great runs he had at Oskaloosa. The
show that Hockett & Darland put on a few years back was
great. Both those guys did 360's after the finish. A true
grass roots racer in my book.
