This friday night I got to fell the thrill of being in victory lane. It wasn't my first time and hopefully not my last time. But so far it has been the most memorable. The day started with me headed to brown county to get a autograph from a county cop for a beer and wine permit for our up and coming wedding so the party would be legal. Then I picked up the boys JD and carlos (our 2 dogs) and headed to the shop. When I got there we were ready to load up and get on our way. After getting gas and some subway were headed up i69 listing to some Jason aldean and making some time in the truck and trailer. It started out easy getting the car ready having some water and being pitted beside the Edison crew (great bunch). Hot laps went ok could have went better but could have went worse but I felt confident in what I had brought to the track. In the heat got snickered on the start by who else (Shane cottle) and finished second. Then got to start the feature in the second row by who else (Shane cottle). The green dropped and like a flash me and (once again) Shane cottle were racing for the lead. Alittle pasted halfway a lapped car slid up blocking Shane just enough for me to take the top spot. I knew that shane would be on the "throttle" to try and get me back. But luckly I was able to hold him off in lap traffic and pick up the W. I can never tell Linsey, mom, or dad thanks enough for there hard work. I love you guys and thank you. And for the people that don't get to come to gas city on a friday night your missin some great racin.

Congrats on another 'W', Billy. I've always thought you're a pretty lucky guy to have your family so involved in your racing. We all do to some degree, but it's really cool walking by your pit seeing that. (We may have to have an intervention on your music, though.)

Yep, I agree with Joe on what he said Billy, I checked the results at Bloomington on Friday night and saw that you had picked up the feature win and the all the photographers around me agreed that it was a very good win with the competition. AS much as I miss seeing you and the family at LPS, I understand the economics of it all. Congrats on the victory and hopefully I'll see you guys before the end of the year!!!

I think your crew chief is a trouble maker she will not stay out of our cookie jar, when it comes to chocolate chip cookies she will give you a run for your money. Good job goes out to you and your crew, it is a lot of fun when the family is involved like yours is.
