Track was fast and tacky, throwing mudballs all through the heats. Most of the better cars were in the 3rd heat which meant some good cars like Burdette and Weir(in the 10E) started mid pack. Cottle led early from outside the 2nd row and mid-race a lapped car slowed and almost got sideways in front of him coming out of 2. He lost momentum and Puterbaugh got past. Burdette came from the 5th or 6th row to Cottle's tail at the checkered. Checkered flag at 9:40

Oh, no way!!!!!!!!
![]() The only way there is any passing, is if the track is dry and slick! Fast and tacky tracks are one lane and boring. I've read that on IOW more than once! ![]() |
