I was just wondering why doesnt a midget run a larger RR like a wingless sprinter i would think with a larger tire it would help with bite coming off the turns?

midget tires are twice as big as they were 20 years ago...Guys will use the biggest ones they can get or the biggest ones that are legal...thankfully most sanctioning bodies don't allow the huge Chili Bowl RRs...even the SP2, 3, and 4 hoosiers are bigger than midgets should be running....tires are too damn good these days which means motors need to be better to compete.
