I just called Winchester. They're waiting for the rain to stop and they said they're going to try to get it in still. Nothing is cancelled.
Radar doesn't look like the weather is going to cooperate with that! This sucks! How many rain outs this year? |

Anybody know anything about another reschedule?
Geez ... this rescheduling stuff because of weather! Another thought: The fuel bills that the teams are burning up to get to the track and back home with no money back! It hurts! |

This race was a natural with HOSS running at Anderson on Saturday night. Unfortunately, it also got cancelled with a reschedule date of September 17th. The Must See race from May 25th at Anderson is now scheduled to be run on August 20th. The owners, drivers and crews have to be as frustrated as the tracks owners and series officials.

Won't be too hard to reschedule at Winchester. They only have a hand full of races on there schedule to begin with. I really wish they would tdo more open wheel stuff.

Has Winchester even run a race yet this year? I think all races thus far have been washed out. I could be wrong. Like to see this one rescheduled if possible. Lots of gaps in their schedule to do this again.

yup, me too! Love the winged sprints at Winchester. Usually a really good race and not to mention they absolutely fly there!

Saturday June 25th. they got a race in, ARCA 200.
Grandstands between 90-95% full, ARCA stock cars, ARCA Trucks and CRA front Wheel Drive on hand. Pits full with race cars & people. Now I'm an open wheel person, "taxi cabs" not my type of racin'....but a great show put on by all divisons. I will qualify that statement by saying this year I work the PA at Winchester, but even if it didn't I would say the same about the event. Last time I was at Winchester for an open wheel event, poor car count, less than 1/2 full grandstands and a money loser for Winchester. If you were the person shelling out the bucks to hold a race at your track which way would you go on setting up a schedule? Now be reasonable and think on that before you post a reply
