as was noted on another board out West!!...listed on CanyonSpeedwayPark.com as "Hall of Fame Classic" for USAC Sprint Cars!!...at this time nothing listed on USACRacing.com scheds....CRA sched has nothing for 10/28,and TBA for 10/29!!...lookin good!!...how bout it Nat'l guys/teams!!..anybody in MidWest mabe givin it some thot w/e b4 Perris' Oval Nat'ls.??...how many will come??...ur thots ??...........

The ParkerStore Fitting for The Hall of Fame Classic

Kevin Montgomery PEORIA, Ariz. (July 11th, 2011) – While out looking for hoses and fittings in the Phoenix area, The ParkerStore is the only place to be! As you meander through the entrance into the huge showroom you will find anything you can imagine and more but as you explore further you will find a store and its owner dedicated to auto racing with a fully outfitted high performance hose and fitting’s section for any race car application.

Just beyond the showroom you will find a room full of racing history. The Arizona Motorsports Hall of Fame is housed at the East Broadway location in an elaborate setting full of great Sprint Car racing pictures that highlights some of the heritage of Arizona Sprint Car racing as well as a wall of plaques honoring the 80 plus members of the Arizona Motorsports Hall of Fame.

The dedication and passion to Arizona racing makes it fitting for the Phoenix ParkerStore to be the Official Sponsor of the USAC Hall of Fame Classic set for this fall at Canyon Speedway in Peoria, Arizona. The two night USAC National Sprint Car event, honoring Hall of Fame members and new inductees, will feature two complete nights of 410 Sprint Car action set for October 28th and 29th.

The Hall of Fame Classic, presented by The ParkerStore, found a home at the Peoria, Arizona race track in 2010 and has quickly become one of the marquee events of the 30 year old facility. The October event will mark the return of USAC Sprint Cars to the Valley of the Sun since the closing of Manzanita Speedway in April 2009. The combination of USAC Sprint Cars and the tradition of the Parker Store Hall of Fame Classic will likely make for a formidable West Coast Sprint Car event.

The Arizona Motorsports Hall of Fame was founded in 1986 when the first 10 members were inducted. Since its inception, more than 80 new members have been elected to the elite group that is occupied with a rich racing heritage, one that is abundant with tradition and prestige. The members list is impressive and each of them has made a considerable impact on racing across the country.
