For those of us without a favorite race to be at tonight there is a live feed on Wing Side Up of tonights racing action at Ace Speedway, Just click on listen live. Heat races to start at 8:15 Eastern time. Liquid Lou set fast time. Bert Meyers took a wild ride shortly after hot laps started, knocking down 5 or 6 billboards atop the fence between 1 & 2, luckily Burt is all right, the Burch # 52 is probably a total write off, not a good way to start the season off. Hope the rest of the night runs smoothly.

Liquid Lou Cicconi wins 50 lap feature in the Stout #49, Trent Stephens #19 2nd, Mark Sammut #78 3rd, Bobby Dawson #28 4th, Joey Scanlon #88 5th, D. J. Schullick #8 6th and Charlie Schultz #7 rounded out the top seven. Former Silver Crown Champ Paul White dropped out of the feature early in the Steve Miller #16 and Jon Henes car was damaged at the start of the second heat and unable to run the feature.

Glad to see Supers racing somewhere else. Burt broke 3 ribs and fractured a lung, not the publicity those cars needed. That guy is a racing hero in North Carolina.
