here are some shots from freeport in sept 1957 the first kurtis kraft roadster to see racing on the east cost on its shake down thats tony bonadies driver

Thanks for sharing these photos. I remember this car and Tony's later Kurtis Kraft Roadster very well. He earned the title as "King of Freeport Stadium" with these cars. Tony was a well liked, approachable and unassuming hero to a kid like myself at that time. I remember how crushed I was reading of his passing.
