Anyone Sick after Tulsa??....

Mine,along with numerous others,started with sore throat,nausous,lite headed,continued caugh stil!!..from Sun.nite b4 we left on Mon.!!..had heard during Race week, more n' more bout health issues for senior folks with slightest of respertory ill's!!...also the mentioning of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning!!..in numerious Pitside/grandstand racin circles...didn't help matters be'n inside by Track all day Sat.!!...hopin' all recover completely with no lingering complications....

Guess I'm lucky, no ill effects for me, my son or future son-in-law. My daughter is sick with the symptoms you describe and didn't even go to the races. Had a great time, met some really neat people. Hope everyone recovers as well.

for the last 2 years. I have been taking Airborne (tablets you drop in water and drink) and Zicam (chewable tablets) I take one of each in the morning and the same after the races. So far it has worked like a CHARM... give it a shot next year...

This was our 15th straight year and am a senior ??? Have never had any problems.

After a week of antibiotics & cortisone meds, I'm just now starting to feel better. I was coughing so bad they did a chest x-ray just to make sure I didn't have something more serious. Still cough so bad sometimes that I can't breathe but it's getting better. I normally don't get sick but there had to be something in the air this year.

I'm sick its over already, can't wait till next year, please everyone that has any doubt about going please stay home I can use the extra room next year.

Unfortunately, it got to me too. Took 5 days to recover.
Sure would hate to see the "Chili Bowl Flu" have a negative impact in future years. Don't have a solution but believe this needs to be addressed.

Have not left Indiana and have the same stuff. Been told its an early flu season. I am a school teacher and about 1/4 of the students are out with it. Welcome to winter.
