No midgets only on midget week and sprints only on sprint week. Tracks race support races on these nights/

All of the Midget Week events that I have attended included "unsanctioned" sprint cars with the USAC midgets.

Most on this board will likely advise you to choose Sprint Week events.

my vacation this year is midget week. midget and sprint doubles at most tracks. i'll still hit a couple of sprint week shows. don't get to see the midgets nearly as much as sprints.

You really can't go wrong either week. Midget week is Sprint/Midget doubleheaders. Sprint week is usually sprints and some form of stockers. Bloomington runs mini sprints with sprints during sprintweek.
Tough choice, that's for sure.

Not much help am I.

rachasin, we usually do the first three nights of Sprint Week...Gas City, Lawrenceburg and Kokomo. Then all of Midget Week. Personally, I like Midget Week better because you get to see Sprints and Midgets.

WARNING: ONE trip to Indiana and your HOOKED. I took in one Sprint Week show back in 1997 (Lawrenceburg) and I've been going back to Indiana 4 or 5 times a year ever since..

P.S..as of yet, there is NO cure...Good Luck

I agree Pine. I think Midget week is the way to go but sprint week is awesome too. I will follow Midget week this year.

Sprints are a local of the track Only a few drivers compete in both and ususally not in their USAC sprint. During Midget week. There have also been a few tracks run Focus instead of sprints. But its usually two or three openwheel classes.

Sprintweek is da bomb, Midget week sometimes sufferes from Powri or Badger scheduling against it. Never a dull moment in sprint week.

Whichever you choose. Have fun.
