There is a new sanctioning body coming to Grundy County Speedway.

Short Track Auto Racing Series or………. STARS

STARS is comprised of 11 dedicated local businessmen committed to improving paved Midget Racing in the Chicagoland area. STARS will achieve a more enjoyable experience for both the participating racers and their loyal fans.
STARS is currently working on putting together rules, purses, advertising, promotions, scheduling, event sponsors and participant perks.
STARS will work hard to get the trust of the participants and gain back the fan base that Midget Racing once enjoyed.
