No disrespect to you Bill. You provide us a great site for the open wheel community to congregate. However, I don't understand why people think they are helping the family by removing a crash video. Crashes are part of racing. Have been and always will be. As long as nobody is commenting in bad taste I think they should be left up.

I do believe that Travis Rutz's accident was removed from YouTube by the original poster.

I have seen video of the crash, and it's pretty sickening to watch. I'd say it's the most graphic crash video I've seen since the Curtis Boyer deal at Knoxville a few years ago. But Curtis recovered, and is racing again. Shane is still in ICU right now. Good decision to take the video down.

I certainly did not want to start anything on here by posting the video. Bill replied to a pm that I sent him about posting this video. I fully respect and understand his decision to not show the video. For those that want to see the video I am sure they will find a way to see it. Bill just did not feel that it was right to have it on here and we should respect his choice.

For some of the people on this board, they sit in the stands and watch the races. They watch the show and go home.For others on here we form personal relationships with the participants, drivers , wives, parents and families.This places a line some of us prefer not to cross, thankfully Bill feels the same way.
