This is fresh from the Badger website:
Sept 21,2010... A 600cc Micro Sprint class will be introduced in 2011 by the Badger Auto Racing Association. This popular yet affordable class will expand the appeal of open wheel racing by opening the door for a younger generation starting as early as age twelve. BMARA will run the 600cc Micros in conjunction with the midget shows as well as some stand alone shows. More information will be coming soon. Please check back as we will release details as they become available. A rule book is being developed and should be completed in October. If you have any questions or comments please contact Quinn McCabe 847-840-1344 or John Callahan 262-857-9477. |

Promoting a feeder series like Powr I. Hope this is successful and opens up some doors for some younger racers to get involved. It seems to have worked for Powr I as their car counts are good. Good luck on this endeaver.

I like this Idea but sure wish they would do it without wings so they CAN develop driver talent.
This would make them so VERY much more attractive to the traditionol midget fan. This I think would make it so very much more challenging, exciting, entertaining & less follow the leader.

Might be a good idea but the timing is bad. Why create a feeder type series when the main focus of midget racing in Wisconsin is in dire straits? It's like trying to patch a bullet wound with a band aid.
