Guess I'll head to Bloomington and Putnamville this weekend. The midget race at Granite City is awfully tempting, but the accompanying sprints have wings. Another factor is the admission cost; I can attend both Bloomington and Putnamville for the same cost as the one race at Granite City. I can also enjoy the seating comfort of my lawn chair at Bloomington and Putnamville and can take in a snack as well if I wish to.
Actually I guess I'm just trying to find a good excuse for not going to Granite City. I really like that place since they redid it. The old configuration wasn't that bad, but the new track and lighting are world class.
