BC is there tonight, in the #75 sprinter Jesse Hockett used to drive. Car count's up, too. Somewhere in the 20's. They have three heats.

I wish it wouldn't have rained in the first place. I'd be there right now, if the radar didn't look so bad all morning.

I hadn't been to Sedalia in about 15 years. I was there last night, though. I thought the feature race was awesome. The first 24 laps went non-stop with Robert Ballou getting by Daron Clayton in traffic around lap 18 or 19 I think.

On the last lap, entering three, Clayton, who was running second, got together with the lapped car of Chris Parkinson and both flipped hard with Parkinson clearing the guardrail.

The last lap red set up a green-white-checkered finish with two lapped cars between Ballou and Bryan Clauson. Clauson was all over Ballou at the checkered. If there hadn’t been two lapped cars between Clauson and Ballou on the restart, I think Clauson would have won it.

The persistent rain showers kept the track fast all night. Excellent feature but the racing in the heats and qualifiers got strung out. Big disparity in speeds on the half mile between the 410’s and 360’s (and I’ll guess a couple of local 305’s too).

22 cars was a little more than I expected considering the car counts the last couple of nights on the Tour. The grandstand crowd was light – I’m guessing 5-600. The shaky weather played a factor, yes. However, tickets were $27 plus you had to pay an extra $5 to enter the fair.

Crowd was closer to 2,000 plus. You have to remember that's a HUGE granstand that seats 7-8,000 plus.

When did the races get over? It sounded like a long night with weather delays and a couple of red flags.
