No Kaeding, Bud is the "King of Knoxville" for 2010 in the USAC Knoxville Nationals.

Scotty Were the pole sitter for the Nationals jumped out to the 1st lap lead, outside front row starter Brady Bacon soon put an end to Were's fun as he would take the lead on lap two running up against the cushion while Scotty "Catfished" it around the bottom.

Starting back from the leaders Bud Kaeding soon saw the back of Bacon and he would cook Bacon as he took the top side thru turns 3 and 4 while Bacon was running the low side. Much like many Knoxville race wins in past years, Kaeding had almost the perfect set up for the track on this night. Keeping at times 8 to 10 car lengths between himself and 2nd place Bacon. When a crew hits the set up like Kaeding and his crew did it is good by, come by later and we will a cold drink.

In the later part of the race Levi Jones and Darren Clayton wage what might of been the best racing action of the race as they raced for 3rd and 4th.

Bacon closed the distance between himself and Kaeding to 2 or 3 car lengths but as the two encountered lap traffic Kaeding again made exactly the right moves and pulled back out to a 6 car length lead. Once in the lead Kaeding was in control, hence "King Bud". Enjoy.
