I just heard through the grapevine that the Silver Crown race at Oswego has been cancelled

Where did the commercial thread statred by Jackslash go? Disappeared in thin air!

I hate to say it but I looked at the weather forecast this morning, Tuesday was clear for the WoO at Fulton and Wed. showed a 60% chance of thunder storms for the USAC race at Oswego. Just rechecked the weather and now Tues. has 30% chance and Wed. 60% chance. Maybe that has something to do with it or a low car count?

wow if this is true it stinks. Was a pretty good show last year and was looking forward to next week!

The story I got was that USAC doesn't have the money to pay the purse. How true that is I don't know but I would bet that is pretty close to the truth.

Wonder how they are going to word this press realease? So much for building up the Silver Crown division. That is about as negative as I will get on line. Cancellation confirmed from both ends Indy and N. Y..
