Would you really feel comfortable driving one there?

According to the ASCT website, it says they are just running the sprints this Friday. Looks like they will be racing sprint/midget doubleheaders at Union County on Aug. 6, Sept. 10, & Sept. 11, though.

There was a press release a while back that said the following classes were running:
Non wing sprints ~ $1,500 to win, $200 to startI just checked the ASCT website (www.americansprintcartour.com) and there is no longer a race on the midget schedule portion of the website for July 2nd. There is also a press release that mentions the sprints and not the midgets (or any other classes). Your best bet to get correct and current information would be to contact: John Gurley, Series President |

The midgets will not be running this Fri. But all other classes listed above can be seen this Fri July 2nd.

Sure have, footer covered, rebar gone, just an old dirt track off the beaten path. Nothing fancy like the burge but its a decent track. But hay don't worry the recesion has hit them hard. The last race there will probablly be the Aug. asct race. The owner said 2 weeks ago, that if car count did not improve he was going to close it, and try to sell it. Hate to think how much money the owner put into the place for the fans, but hay with the hatred twords that place on this board, several will probablly celebrate.
