Is there anyone interested in showing up to try a 1000 non-wing mini sprint race at Linton, In on June 4th.? If enough cars show up, they will add the class for the night.

So does that mean that if enough cars don't show up we won't get to run?

Yes....I am trying to get them to let us add weight and run with the 600s this weekend. Would love to run there.....we have many friends that run 600 sidewinders there and would enjoy the trip!

-The payout would be the standard Linton payout based on number of cars
-They have not stated a min. number of cars for a field. We have had fields as low as 2 cars in the 600 class. -I missed the ASCT Midget race, this could give racers a Southern, IN option. |

Id love to race there but not with the "standard linton payout" Last time I won a 16 car feature at that track I think the pay out was 70bucks.Whats the standard these days?

Linton doesn't strike me as the kind of track where you are going to see a big payoff......if we go (and we will) it will be for the fun of racing and seeing a bunch of folks we used to race quarter midgets with at Mini-Indy. I can understand why some folks would not make a trip that far just to race, Linton is a small track that seems to me to be racing for the fun of it.

If I still had the little cars I would be interested...heck, if anyone has an open car and a 15" seat, I would still be interested...
