Bill, be careful about the Shelby Co. Fairgrounds. The track is a dump. Makes TC look like Daytona.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but your off base with that opinion of Shelbyville.

All I'm sayng is that the mini sprint clubs now run real race tracks. Bloomington, Lawrenceburg, KC, Brownstown, Kokomo, etc. These are all sprint car or late model tracks that are ran on a regular basis. I think that going to places like Shelbyville, even if it was just to have a non wing race, would be a step backwards. I've even had TQ guys tell me that they don't like running the small county fair tracks like, Rush, Shelby, and Decatur County. Like you said originally everyone is entitled to their opinion, I just think if you took a poll not many people would group the Shelby county fairgrounds track with that of Lawrencburg or Bloomington.

I understand what you're saying about the weekly run tracks BUT believe it or not one reason I picked TQ midget racing over the mini sprints was the fact that they run at the small county fair tracks. I guess it's an atmosphere thing for me. I love those small county fair tracks. Sort of reminds me of the good old days. And I've seen some good racing by the TQ's on them. I feel some of the weekly tracks are just a tad too big for the TQ's and mini sprints. Only my opinion of course.
