When Aaron Pierce crossed the scales, after being interviewed on the front stretch, they were 8 pounds of weight short. The person watching the scales gave him the benefit of the doubt and told him to go get his helmet and hans device, in order to see if that helps him make weight. When Aaron came back, he was multiple pounds overweight. Come to find out, he had gears in his helmet. Even though he had gears in his helmet to make sure he made weight, they still gave him the win, after the officials saw the gears. Does this seem right?? Seems like they should weigh the cars immediatly after the race, that way nobody gets interviewed as the winnner until they have officially made weight. That way, nobody would be able to add anything. There were rumors of him going to be fined, but who knows.

Also, the event got dragged on way too long. The sprint car race didnt checker until after 11. There was a lot of down time. They also ran both stock car features, with both around 14 cars respectively, 40 laps each, and seemed to last forever. You would think that they could have ran about 20 laps fewer and got the same result. The wind was blowing at all of the spectators, and temperatures were unseasonably cold. There couldn't have been more then 400 people in the stands.

Also, i wanted to ask everyones opinion on this. With both the first and second place cars crashing whilst going into the third turn, the flagman through the yellow flag, not the checker. All other cars in the field would have had to drive through the accident to finish the race. Then after about a lap under yellow, the flagman through the checker, and the race was over. I dont know their rules, but it seems to me that it should have been a green and white together, or a green white checker finish.
