WOW! What a finish. JRS was third on the restart and finish the lap first. Amazing. Hunter deserved to win but JRS found a way to win.
It was great to meet Sprint Man Dave (Dave Foist) tonight. Dave stop by and see us again. We always sit in the same place. |

What a race. For most of the first 24 laps Hunter, Gaines, Stanbrough, and Holtsclaw were within 50 ft. of each other. As they take the White flag it was HS, DG, DH, JS. In two a car is stopped and 3 of the 4 go around the car but DH, stops to keep from hitting him. That set up the 1 lap dash to the Checkers. Hunter and Dickie race hard into 1 both going a little high and leaving just enough room for JS to hug the bottom and win the drag race down the back stretch, JS took the middle line in 3/4 to keep the lead to the line. What a great race, the excitement had me wide awake or the ride back to SE Indiana. Races like that make it worth the 2 plus hr, drive. Wish I could make it to B-Town every week.

It was a great race!! No yellows until the fateful one with one to go. Hunter, Dickie, Holtzclaw and Stanbrough were all over each other. Wimmenhauer caused the yellow at the end. Great crowd, great race and checkered at 9:30 What more could you ask for.
