Kevin Doty Classic Postponed

Pontoon Beach, IL.......With the predicted severe weather forecast for today and tonight the decision was made forcing the postponement of the "Kevin Doty Classic" USAC Mopar National Midget race at Tri-City Speedway. In the best interest of all concerned and to minimize travel for fans and participants, the event has been postponed. Track and sanctioning body officials are working to secure a rescheduled date for the event, which is co-sanctioned by POWRi and also awards USAC/SMRS Great Plains Midget Series points. The USAC/SMRS Great Plains series continues Saturday night at 24 Raceway in Moberly, Mo.

Once again, thanks for the early decision and the savings in gas and hotel $$$.
Sucks though, because I really wanted go be there.
