Advice to Rookies

In the movie Field of Dreams, a rookie player stated his dream was to get a major league at bat and just before the pitcher delivered the ball he would wink at him. This was to imply that he knew something the pitcher did not. When he actually did it in the Ghost Game, the pitcher threw at his head. So it turned out not to be a great idea.

Now, some advice to a rookie or any other driver. Even if you have apologized for your actions, don't offer the "Fist Bump" to a ticked off driver whom you just put on his head. The bump will likely be a lot harder than you want it to be.

Yes, someone was actually naive enough to do this over the weekend. I was LMAO when I heard about it.

He's lucky he didn't get a :icon_smile_blackeye

I guess the real advice is, don't put yourself in this position to start with. Drive with respect for your fellow competitors.
