Then Ferrari would have hire the same women that Max Mosley hired.

As a very faithful Ferrari follower for the last decade or so...this is going to be something to behold. We've seen the likes of Michael Jordan, Brett Favre, and an ungodly amount of NASCRAP drivers come out of retirement...but this is something totally different. This is the world's most popular form of motorsport where you can be made a fool of in no time. Michael Schumacher led the Maranello outfit through their greatest period in Formula One history...and although race wins will be very hard to come by this year...I, for one, am hopeful that Schumi can help boost the technical advancement of this years' car as well as the next. Raikkonen drove to an outstanding 2nd place last week...the teams best finish yet this year...so I'm not ruling anything out. Good luck Schumi...the Tifosi are all on edge.

In my role in IMS I was assigned to Ferrari every year and thus dealt directly with Michael - my most memorable time was about 1/2 hour interview face to face - I found him to be a fascinating man. You talk about a PR dream for F1 - this is it. I heard this tonight at the regional race at Plymouth and couldn't believe it. What a circus this will be.

Pat...If you have a tape or transcript of that interview, I don't want to hear it; I HAVE to.
Not only is this a standard-issue circus anyway, but with 4 weeks of buildup....Whoa.
Kinda took the steam right off my idea that Alonso claims "Breach of Contract" on Renault for knowingly withholding his untightened wheel from him, and makes the foregone leap to the Scuderia in time to wear red at Valencia.
At least now, the promoters in Spain won't have to keep complaining that Alonso's proposed absence from the event will cause it irreperable harm: I'd reckon that ticket sales just received "a bump".

OT - Speaking of receiving a "bump", I heard that Versus doubled their viewership of the Tour de France all to the credit of ol' Lance. Wow.
