On a completely non open wheel note, the Hell Tour begins tonight at Brownstown. It's not really a week, its a month. 27 dirt late model races in 31 days. Gotta admit that is a lot of racing, I would love to be able to see the whole thing. The points winner get $100,000. Its the 22nd year of this event.

ASCS NW Speed Week consists of five races in six days.
Although not a true sanctioning body sponsored deal, you have the Southern Iowa Speedweeks. Ten straight days of racing (8 at Knoxville with 2 at Southern Iowa mixed in between). You got winged 360s and 410s plus non wing 410s. Someday I'll get there. |

ASCS Speed Week wrapped up tonight at Lawton, Ok. Tim Crawley won the title. Bacon led by a slim margin going into tonight's race but finished midpack. Looks like he's getting better at running with a lid. Had some good runs during Speed Week, 23rd to 3rd at Creek County a few nights ago.
