don't forget they ran 360 wing cars also last nite. I head there Attendence hasnt been the greatest. I think right now we should be happy that they are running non-wingers at all.

i know but still $700 isn't very much and drivers aren't going to travel for that much money. if you finish 2nd you only get $350.

Why should they? The top teams run at Lawrenceburg, Gas City, Bloomington, Etc. and places like this give the lower budget teams a great place to race and be competitive. They're getting 20 + cars a night so I don't see the issue? Paragon only pays $500 to win, and they get full fields as well. Its just a different place for lower budget teams to be competitive when they can't afford the big engine to run The Burg and other places.

One race of note is the Hewitt Classic with $3K to win on 8/15. It looks like Lawrenceburg is off that night. USAC has a pavement race that night. Vermilion is off. Putnamville is on. Paragon is on. MSCS is off. It might be a good night a Waynesfield.

the only time they pay the 700 is when they have 360's with non wing.. as far as i know when nonwing is running by itself its 1000 to win...

Got a call earlier today from someone that talked to the track owner and he was told that there will be no more 700 to win shows, all will be at least 1000 and that the nonwings will be the main show from now on. By the way, this track the past few years has always paid over 1000 to win and the crowds kept getting bigger and bigger as the year went on.
