I have seen a "bad" trend recently at Bloomington Speedway. The "new" flagman, not Rusty, has an issue with the yellow flag according to my observations. Case in point, last night's KISS race, the flagman would look at a stopped sprint car and then look back at the rest of the field and not throw the yellow quickly and allow the field to continue under green...3-4 times this happened last night...Not sure if he doesn't know sprint cars can't start up again, on their own, after they are stopped or what...bottom line! He is going to get someone hurt!!! Last night, I was told, "well, he's new" so what? tell that the family of the driver who gets hurt, or explain why someone's car is damaged badly because of his inabiltity to flag correctly...Why wait until someone gets hurt to fix this problem...

Thanks to Bloomington Speedway for running a quick program, last night, and avoiding a possible rain out/delay...also THANKS to DON SHORT and INDIANA STONE WORKS for his continued support of sprint car racing and the KISS series!!

I also noticed this.Theres othere ways to give the flagman practice than putting him on the flagstand for the sprint cars..Have him flag the other classes a few weeks and then flag the sprint cars.Ted Hines got into a car last nite during a yellow because the yellow wasnt thrown soon enough. If this problem is not corrected someone will get hurt.

I also noticed that on one occasion He threw the green flag for a restart and still had the yellow light on,

id agree bloomingtons flag man isnt the greatest but he cant be any worse than lawrenceburgs!! he really is going to get someone killed sooner than later with him trying to make everyone start on him. thats the main reason brett burdette got hurt. i dont know why they cant just put a line down in turn 4 like bloomington does. they rarely have problems on starts.
