Here are a few ideas if you or anyone was interested in coming to Indy for memorial weekend. Your possibilities are endless. Most all the local tracks will be running their regular stuff but let me give you some highlights. Thursday you have USAC sprints at Terre Haute for the Tony Hulman Classic. Friday you have Carb day. Carb day consists of 500 practice from 11- noon, then at 12:30 you have the Indy lights race (freedom 100), then a pit stop challenge, 3 Doors Down will be in concert at 3:30 with vintage cars on track after that! Then you can make your way over to the Indiana State Fairgrounds for some Silver Caron racing at the Indy mile (race starts at 8:00). Saturday there is a public drivers meeting at the Speedway at 10:30 and it is free. Saturday night we all know about the Little 500 at Anderson and the Night before the 500 at IRP (your choice). Sunday you got the big daddy of them all the Indy 500 and Sunday night if you have any energy there is Kokomo or Tri State Speedway in Haubstadt In. Remember Haubstadt is not on eastern time so it gives you an hour to get down there but don't fool around after the 500 (it can be done). By this time you will need to call into work sick for a few days out of complete exhaustion.

Any other info about the schedule of IMS during May can be answered here: http://www.indianapolismotorspeedway.com/schedule/

ps. I am excited!

Man that sounds like heaven to this ol' Tennessee redneck. One of these years I'm going to come up to the Indy area and do this exact schedule.
