This might be old news to some, if so I apologize, but I heard tonight that Ca racer Nick Faas is moving East to Indiana and will be running non wing sprints this year, and hitting select USAC sprint shows....Anyone else out there hear this or can confirm?

Yes,from what I've heard Nic will be racing in the midwest this year, also I believe that Josh Ford will racing back there as well.

Nic is moving his stuff back in March, after the few three national races out west. Plans are to run most if not all the USAC dirt sprint races and as much as possible through IN and IL.

This is good for us out east, but I hate to see it for the California crowd. With Tony Jones retiring, and these two drivers leaving, car counts could be trouble. Perris had cut back their USAC races to one a month. I got a chance to go to Perris this past summer, and wow, what a great place! I wish I could plop it down right here in central IL. I wish the socal sprint car scene good luck and success this year.
