Curious if anyone went to all 3 nights of the Powri deal wing racing here in the topless state. Would like to hear about the races, the crowd and so forth. It’s not on Flo or DV so I question if it even happened. Let me know any thoughts on the races

I didn't go to any of the races, but I did keep up with the three races on My Race Pass

Lincoln Park had the Biggest Car Count at I believe 40 or so cars

I figured Terre Haute would have more then the 26 cars that showed up. I was thinking 30+. Guess I was wrong.

How ever this does have me thinking.

Would a 7-9 race Indiana Wing Sprint week work or not? I know many love the Non-Wing cars but if those races had 410 Wing, 410 Non-Wing, & maybe modified as a support class (Promoter option), would it work here in Indiana.

Let's say all races paid 5,000 to $7,500 to win and the last race paid $10,000 - $12,000 to win. With a possible $50,000 to $75,000 point fund at the end of the week.

Thursday - Terre Haute Action Track
Friday - Lincoln Park Speedway
Saturday - Lawrenceburg Speedway
Sunday - Tri-State Speedway

Monday - OFF
Tuesday - OFF

Wednesday - Paragon Speedway
Thursday - Circle City Raceway
Friday - Bloomington Speedway
Saturday - Montpelier Motor Speedway
Sunday - Kokomo Speedway

We went to LPS & THAT,actually it was both POWRi & Fast on Dirt series. All three nights were on S2FTV,contrary to what you believe they did happen.
Friday night @ LPS was pretty good,40 entries good crowd, racing was good IMO.
Sunday night was not so well attended with 26 entries.Racing IMO was good that night as well.
We went to the 3 nights last year also, will go next year if the opportunity presents itself.
IRA is at Historic Bloomington Speedway this Friday Night & we will be in attendance for that one.
FB55 I hope this gives you some answers to some questions. 🏁🏁

There were also YouTube highlights from each race. Believe they are listed as Poweri/Fast Honet Abe. Here is the video from Lincoln Park.

Dare I say, was it kind of a break-out weekend for TMEZ in a winged car??? Yes, I know he was many accomplishments in non-wing cars; but it seemed that his results from this series last weekend (other than Sunday, did not notice he ran that night) may have been among or the best he has had in winged cars?

Let's say all races paid 5,000 to $7,500 to win and the last race paid $10,000 - $12,000 to win. With a possible $50,000 to $75,000 point fund at the end of the week.

I don't understand how you would pay that. The nightly pay could probably work, but that point fund is super high. Ohio and PA speedweeks point funds don't come close to that.

Another question I have is when would you run it. Indiana has both Sprint and Midget weeks, plus the Ohio and PA speedweeks. Add in all the high paying shows for the wing guys, and I think it would be tough.

I was at Waynsefield for Ohio speedweek and was suprised how good TMEZ looked. That is by far the best I have seen him run in a winged car.

TMez ran Haubstadt Sunday night under the suggestion of Tim Engler where he ran 3rd.

A Birdie told me that Terre Haute had a horrible crowd. ?

It was just a thought on my post. I have no idea what PA Speedweek point fund is. I just figured if this idea happened late in the year like late September or early October before the National Open at Williams Grove I think the speedweek idea could get a good car count.

A winged week sounds great. But you better draw some fans to pay for this dream. Watch the TMez video from Lincoln Park Speedway. When you can see all the grass off turn 4, that's a slim crowd. Same thing from Terre Haute. Saw that video and hardly saw any fans in the infield. That's two years in a row these winged races haven't drawn crowds. Unfortunately, hot weather both years and with the Pacers playing both Fri and Sun nights, that didn't help the race dates. Hopefully the crowd at Paragon was decent.

Went to Paragon Saturday got 32 cars. Several first timers at Paragon like winner Joe B Miller.
I thought the crowd was decent. I thought the feature was pretty good. Scary accident in the B main after the checkers between Logan Faucon and B main winner Preston Pearlmutter. According to a post from Preston Sunday morning, his steering broke after the checkers his car made contact with the wall and was sitting stopped on the track, Faucon who was racing hard for the final transfer spot had no where to go and hit the stopped Pearlmutter. I enjoyed the racing at Paragon.
