I guess I don’t go to many MSCS shows. Curious format that has the 15th quick qualifier on the pole of the heat and the feature. What is the point of qualifying in this case?

Heat winners start the feature 1-4, 2nd place start 5-8, 3rd in your heat and you start the feature 9-12. The heat lineups must invert qualifiers from TT. Looks like they don’t use qualifying times at all to line up the feature.
