USAC INDIANA MIDGET WEEK POINTS ENTERING GAS CITY – 6/10/2022

Speedway, Indiana (June 10, 2022)………Buddy Kofoid remains steady and in control at the top of the 2022 USAC Indiana Midget Week point standings entering round five at Gas City I-69 Speedway on Friday night, June 10.

Kofoid (Penngrove, Calif.) stands atop the points with a 41-point lead over Ione, California’s Justin Grant (-41) with Raisin City, California’s Mitchel Moles (-54) residing third; Princeton, Indiana’s Kyle Cummins fourth (-55) and Tri-State Speedway winner Thomas Meseraull of San Jose, Calif. sitting fifth (-68).

Jacob Denney (Galloway, Ohio), by virtue of his victory on Thursday night at Lincoln Park Speedway, has elevated to sixth in the Indiana Midget Week standings, 75 points back.

Kofoid (Penngrove, Calif.) captured victories in the first two rounds of Indiana Midget Week last Friday at Bloomington Speedway and on Saturday at Lawrenceburg Speedway.* He also leads the overall USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship standings entering the event.

Friday’s event at Gas City features USAC Indiana Midget Week for the USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship along with the Gas City Sprint Cars.

Pits open on Friday at 3pm Eastern with grandstands opening at 3:30pm and hot laps at 6:30pm.

Tickets and pit passes will be sold at the gate. General admission tickets are $30, students are $10 and kids aged 12 and under are free.* Pit passes are $35.
