LAMB WINS DILLON FINALE, BEAN COUNTS 5TH STRAIGHT USAC EASTERN MIDGET CROWN

Dillon, South Carolina (October 23, 2021)………No driver has won more often this season than Chris Lamb who began and finished the points season with the USAC Eastern SpeeD2 Midgets in victory lane.

For the sixth time in 2021, the Colfax, N.C. driver scored the win in Saturday night’s final points race of the season at South Carolina’s Dillon Motor Speedway, his record 55th career series victory.

Lamb went undefeated at Dillon this season, going two-for-two after also winning at the track back in July of this year.

Meanwhile, no driver has won more USAC Eastern SpeeD2 Midget championships than Jessica Bean, and the Farmland, Ind. native added yet another this season with her fifth consecutive by 34 points over runner-up Sam Mazzo.* Bean also captured the series title in 2017-18-19-20.

Mazzo (Burns, Tenn.) was the night’s fastest qualifier and also finished 2nd in the 35-lap feature event to Lamb, who led all 35 circuits.* Brady Allum (Gold Hill, N.C.) took third ahead of Chuck Groat (West Valley City, Utah) while Hunter Wise (Allentown, Pa.) rounded out the top-five.* Bean finished 8th.
