Lightning Sprint questions

I’m thinking about getting into lightning springs in the MO, NE, KS area. Don’t know too much about the 1200 scene. Any certain chassis better than others? And what tracks race the class around this area if any other than the Midwest Lightning Sprints? Any help is appreciated.
