52 PASSES PUTS BALLOU ATOP USAC PROSOURCE PASSING MASTER STANDINGS

By: Richie Murray – USAC Media

Speedway, Indiana (May 12, 2021)………The most recent USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car feature winner, Robert Ballou, is also the leader of USAC’s ProSource Passing Master standings entering mid-May.

The Rocklin, Calif. native has advanced a total of 52 positions during the 2021 USAC National season, all of which have come during USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car competition.

Last Saturday night’s $10,000 #LetsRaceTwo winner at Ohio Eldora Speedway has finished higher than his starting position in eight of his 11 series starts.

In three of those starts, Ballou advanced the most positions to earn KSE Racing Products Hard Charger of the Race honors: 22nd to 9th at Lawrenceburg; 20th to 10th at Bloomington; and 13th to 3rd at Grandview.

Rounding out the top-five of the Passing Master standings are San Jose, California’s Thomas Meseraull (47); Minden, Nevada’s Tanner Thorson (43); Broken Arrow, Oklahoma’s Brady Bacon (37); and Canton, Illinois’ Chris Windom (34), who is the reigning Passing Master titlist.

Longtime USAC supporter ProSource has posted a $2,500 reward to the driver who passes the most total cars during feature events for Silver Crown, AMSOIL National Sprint Cars and NOS Energy Drink National Midgets throughout USAC’s 2021 National season.

If Robert can keep qualifying better, he will be a real threat most nights

Hell. Brent if he can qualify better he will win the championship. It shows that when he starts up front he definitely can win. But if he starts deep in the field he is definitely fun to watch. LOL. Go Ballou. Thanks.
