Since i have no concept of .25 Midget racing in the least, perhaps IOW's .25 Midget racing expert can break it down for us?
I'm curious to know how it compares to QMA. |

TAMPA BAY, TOLEDO & LAS VEGAS HOST
2009 USAC .25 MIDGET DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIPS The 2009 USAC .25 Midget District Championship slate includes events at Tampa Bay, Fla. March 21-22, Toledo, Ohio June 6-7 and the inaugural "Black Jack 200" at Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway June 20-21. Participation in any one of these three district championships will ensure eligibility to compete in the .25 Midget Nationals in July at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The Tampa Bay event will be held at the Ambassador Racing School in Balm, Fla., while the Toledo event will be held at the Lucas County Rec Center. Las Vegas Motor Speedway's complex includes a .25 midget facility near the "Bullring." "We are all looking forward to these exciting inaugural USAC events," said USAC Developmental Series Director James Spink. "Family fun is paramount and we look forward to pit parties and other activities surrounding these events." A USAC Ford Focus race is also scheduled June 20 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway "Bullring." In related news, the 2008 USAC .25 Midget Competition Rules have been finalized and are now available online at www.usacracing.com. |

Not yet but Tony is going to build one. Tony helped out with getting the Mini Indy track going at the fairgrounds so it should be a nice one!!!

A) The Grands weren't in Indianapolis to my knowledge...
B) USACs division is brand new, you would think they'd encourage car count.

Also the USAC championship at IMS is a replacement, for now, for the Gasoline Alley Nationals run by the Nervo family as a JSCA event, not QMA. This event has always had a waiting list in the past so I believe car counts will not be a problem. |

Wasn't the JSCA Gasoline Alley event the first 400 entries/invitations plus people who have won track or other championships? Something similar to that.
Didn't QMA have a hardship entry for the grands if you hadn't run any of the other races? Just making sure if I am correct. |
