Yeah, I gotta say that this was one heck of a season. For our team here in Texas, we moved from the late model stock class (like the Bloomington Super Stocks) to a UMP modified. I made two trips up to Indiana, one in May on my own and the other with my sweetie for Sprint Week. Both trips were incredible, and I have made some real friends; in addition to those I already know. While I was taking pictures just for me, I went ahead (with the help of some folks) and started up Manvel Motorsports; and have even sold a few pictures. We finally have a handle on what we need to do to make our modified to go fast; but we only have one more event to prove it.
Yup. A great year for racing this season, and not a bad one personaly, either.

2008 was great! Lots of great racing and lots of great people! We are looking forward to going to Ft. Wayne for a little indoor racing to pass the time until the 2009 dirt season starts. Little Sam is already bouncing off the walls. He is so ready for 2009.
