With a lot of rain outs this weekend. Butler is still on just north of the boarder and forecast looks good as of now.
They are doing a memorial for John Reeve. John had a heart attack in the pits at Butler last year and passed away. He was a regular in the ss division. They are paying a little higher pay out for each class. Dashes for each class which are paying and each lap of the feature will pay. I have attached some of the info if anyone is interested in heading to the mitten. The season is winding down. 🙁 |

Will they run the sprints first or at 2 AM?

It probably won't change your opinion but that's one thing they've really worked hard to improve. They put in rules to speed up the program.
Sprints run 2nd. I've been out a handful of times this year and they haven't ran past midnight any of them for the sprints at least. The last night I was out the sprint checker fell at 10:55

Thanks for the post, MI. Looks like it might be the only option tonight/this weekend. Unfortunately, The World 100 was also postponed - until 10/12-13.
However, the WoO Sprints run Eldora the 14th so there is a three day weekend on tap to close out the season there. What a wash of a weekend (no pun intended). |

Agree Butler the place to be tonight. I have hit a couple shows this year also with Sprints done by 11:00. Extra money in all classes I believe. ..good car counts expected.

With Fremont rained out, there should be a great sprint cat field. Planning on making the trip up.
