So I see both divisions are racing at Sycamore this weekend. Are they close enough in rules they will be running together or will they be 2 separate classes?

The schedules show many shows are combined. So there are 2 versions of POWRi midget racing and BMARA...yep...

There is no POWRI D2 anymore, they have changed to POWRI Regional Midgets and run the same rules as Badger.

They raced together last weekend as well. Scott Hatton won, Tyler Baran was second and Ryan Probst third. Great racing with guys on the cushion and around the bottom. The top bit a few guys but it was some great racing. Hope everyone comes out and watches at least one race there this year. Sycamore is a very cool track. Lots of former competitors come to watch and take in the show.

Sycamore has some cool Midget racing roots. Here is a picture of my dad there in 1981 in a VW.

Thanks for the explanation. I have a hard time keeping up with midget organizations and rules

It was a great night of racing last Saturday. Looking forward to going back this week. Sycamore has done a nice job adding banking to the track and making it useable from top to bottom.
