From Butler website: Butler Cancels due to weather Posted: Saturday, May 12, 2018 Racing for Saturday May 12 has been cancelled due to weather. The Sprints on Dirt will be rescheduled for Saturday May 19. ************ With the reschedule, this puts SOD back-to-back at Hartford and Butler next weekend. |

Couple of things this weekend to look for:
Hartford dusted up and off quite a bit last year. We'll see how it goes this year. I have no idea if they brought in new clay, or not. Butler lowered their banking. Maybe it will make it more racier? I always thought the track itself was fine. I just hope the lower banking does not lead to more slide offs over the berm and into the runoff areas on each end and multiple caution flags - in ALL divisions. And god.... I hope they run the SOD Sprints first. At least before the mods. |
