Tri-State Speedway legend passes

I remember watching Jim Hirsch racing a sprinter powered by a nailhead Buick V8. Also visited with him when his car was on display at the original Arby's on south Green River Road, just north of Bellemeade. RIP, Jim Hirsch!

I miss the old homebuilt hotrod days when people used whatever engines they could get. Tommy Ivo won lots of drag races with those Nailheads
