LPS and Bloomington both allowed u to bring in alcohol . Lawrenceburg had a sign that said " state law prohibits you from bringing in alcohol ". I don't drink so it didn't affect me but aren't LPS and Bloomington still in the same state ?
The laws here in Indiana aren't the same for all facilities. In fact, the laws here aren't the same for everyone. Some facilities can allow alcoholic beverages to be brought in while others not. As clear as mud don't you think? Your title says it all. Don't get sober and you won't be confused.
And by the way, LPS doesn't allow you to bring alcoholic beverages into the facility. If you did, count your blessings.

No big deal at all. I'm wrong all the time. Just for future reference, Tri State, Paragon & Bloomington you can bring in adult beverages as long as no glass bottles. LPS & Lawrenceburg you can bring a cooler in but no alcohol. Gas City, Kokomo & Montpelier no coolers allowed. Just an FYI for your return trips to Indiana. Glad you enjoyed midget week.

The law was similar when I had the track (L'Burg), they just didn't enforce it nor, did they intend to enforce it. The beer distributor approached me (and later Greg Staab) and urged me to "invoke" the law as a way to increase sales. I didn't do it and neither did Greg Staab. It wasn't until Tom Weick (sp?) got the track that they pulled that law off of the shelf and started preventing fans from bringing in beverages.
