A.M.S.A. is proud to announce that we will be part of the Tulsa Shoot Out
that will be held in December. And they will run by the A.M.S.A. rules. More information will follow in couple months.

Will this also include the no ZX-12 motor rule? I would love to run Tulsa and I am sure you could get some more west coast drivers out there if you didn't have this rule.

Will the no ZX-12 motor rule apply to this race?

Id like to know about the zx12 rule also please. It would take sometime to change out but would be well worth the work.

What about the weight? Non wing surely will be slightly light weight right?

It will still be pretty cool to race there.

I see that you are running your Mini Sprints few days before the Chili Bowl out in Tulsa. Well guess we all will stop on our way out to Az for the winter and see your race. Just love those Mini Sprints. We always go to the Chili Bowl on our way out, this is just more racing to see before winter sets in. Good luck and hope you have a real good turn out, which I know you will.

To bad this is now. I woud say about 10 to 12 years ago there was a pretty decent field of 1200's in Oklahoma.

You are probably right about the Lack of 1200s in OK today but there are over 25 cars in the KC area, 2 or 3 different clubs in Colorado, a club in IL and 2 clubs in Indiana..I would imagine you will see some Hench house cars from NY and probably an entry or 2 from California.

I bet they get 45-60 entries for the class this year.

I just hope they do some adjusting on the weight rule. Take 25 pounds off due to non wing and take some of the massive spread out of the Gas vs Alky 1000cc motors.

I ran 2 nights in a friends backup car earlier this year. I weigh 225# and had to add 30# to the car to weigh 900# non wing. I am shopping for a ride for this race but there is no way in hell I can put another 70# on a car on top of what it already took to get to 900.
