I don't have many details, but photographer Bob Hesser passed on yesterday. He will be sorely missed by his drag racing and sprint car friends alike!

Please keep his family and friends in your prayers.

I worked with Bob on some photo shoots, always the professional in his work. Always willing to help with any problems and questions at the track. He will be missed by many. My prayers go out to his family, God bless and peace be with you!

I just heard about Bob's passing from Dennis K. Such a terrible loss for such a young guy. Bob was always friendly and welcoming when I would cross paths on trips out to Indiana. He really knew his stuff and wasn't cocky about it either. He always had advice when you needed it and a good story to share during breaks in the action. I'll miss our infield chats.

Condolences go out to his Wife Vicky and their kids.

I got to room with Bob about 3 years ago during the chili bowl and he is one of the reasons I am into shooting racing pictures, and someone I looked up to.

RIP Bob
