An Indiana record of 30 Sprint Cars entered the Inaugural Crossroads Classic at Circle City Raceway on Saturday night where the Schaeffer's Oil Indiana RaceSavers were the headlining class for the evening. A special format including qualifying and a dash culminated in a 30 lap feature race starting 22 cars. Trevin Littleton made the long haul from Jacksonville Illinois to race in this premier event. His trip was well worth it as he bested the other 29 cars and took home the feature win and $1839! He also went home with a Hoosier Tire certificate for the Long Haul Award. Ethan Barrow and Rod Henning completed the podium spots when the dust settled on the 1/4 mile bullring. Bradley Galedrige and Kevin Newton rounded out the top 5 finishers in the feature. Ohio's Jacob Stickle blazed a path through the field from his 19th starting spot to finish 10th and take home the MSG Company Hard Charger Award and an extra $50. Rookie Kayla Martin rebounded from a tough heat race finish to charge from 12th in the B-Main to transfer into the feature and finish 17th! This performance earned her the MSG Company Driver of the Race Award and an extra $50!

For the first time the Indiana RaceSavers raced a dash event to lineup the 8 highest point earners in the feature event. Samco Manufacturing put up $250 to the winner and more money for the other 7 cars. Last years Schaeffer's Oil series, and IMCA National Champion, Justin Clark put on a show and won the dash!

Starting the day out on the right foot, Rod Henning posted the quickest lap in the Allstar Performance qualifying session. This earned him a $50 Allstar Performance Certificate.

There were four Barringer's Tavern heat races for the night. The winners were Jeff Wimmenauer, Chris Miller, Trevin Littleton, and Carson DIllion. Each heat winner took home an extra $50 thanks to our friends at Nalon Power Development

Richie Gaines took an unfortunate ride in Qualifying after posting the 17th quickest lap on the evening. His night was over but he went home with the NPD Hard Luck Award.

Rookie Shane O'Banion won the Hoosier Racing Tire B-Main event and raced up to a 13th place finish overall. Ohio's Caleb Erwin was the first car to not transfer out of the B-Main and took home an extra $50 thanks to long time series supporter Mickey Smith.

*Note* the feature results have been updated to reflect a scoring issue not caught at the track. Positions 11-14 have been updated according to video evidence. Teams will be compensated for the pay difference at the next event.

This event was a lot of fun and the racing action was fierce. All of us want to extend a special thank you to all the teams that entered the event, the race track crew at Cricle City, the event sponsors, and last but not least the amazing fans that cheered us on all night. You can find us racing next at Florence Speedway in Kentucky on July 30th!
