Ken, there’s got to be something behind it because I know what I see and I’m not going to buy a ticket to watch it. The same way I’m not buying a ticket to a nascar race or an Indy light race. There is money behind all kinds of stuff that we’re told there’s virtue in. I have my own mind and will decide for myself what is worth me spending my time on. If silver crown goes away, it won’t be because of what it did on dirt

the name is deceiving. I seen the post Hoosier Hundred payout and i got all excited only to click the link and get brought back to reality. Change the name. Call it the Harvest 100 or the Heartland 100 or anything else, it is not the Hoosier Hundred.

How about calling it" I Don't Give a F*** What They Call It 100".

would expect a field of probably 28 cars, as there were 25 cars in the May race this year at IRP, and more pavement cars are being prepared for next year

Of classic USAC races including Hulman Classic, Hut Hundred, Night Before the 500, Turkey Night Grand Prix to name a few have been raced at different racetracks, TNGP, Hulman Classic and Night Before were contested on both dirt and pavement. We have a leadership group that has worked hard to revive the oval and have put money behind that. Seems worth supporting. As always if it isn't your cup of tea just don't go. Really simple

WV motor speedway would be a killer place for a Dirt Champ Car race. Fonda too. Problem is, neither are in open wheel territory.

"......THIS IS INDIANA, WE RACE ON DIRT HERE........"

".......iT WAS TOO DUSTY, i'LL NEVER GO BACK......"
Bottom line? Someone will always be unhappy about SOMETHING, so just have the race and those that go will enjoy it....

Good points! When you consider the Fairgrounds and "IRP" are like 10 miles apart, this is fitting too. Gota race where a promoter will have you...
