Recently checking on some vintage wheels for an old sprint car I'm working on. The rears are 16 inch Halibrands. My question is the fronts. The RF is a 16 inch wheel, 5.0 x 16, but the left front is a 4.50 x 15. I thought both fronts were going to be 16's, but not the case. Regardless, I was wondering, back in the day, did some guys run a 16 inch on the right front and a 15 inch on the left? I'm wondering what problems I might encounter if I go ahead on these wheels and take it out to run some vintage events. Obviously the stagger will be off, but I'm not sure about the 15's on one side and 16's on the other front. Any knowledge about this would sure be appreciated. Thanks !!!

I think you'll find that was pretty much the setup, most figured the LF was only there to assist in loading the car, and keep from tearing up the track on lineup laps. I wouldn't worry much about it, as far as the stagger, same deal, not to worry. JMHO Bob
